Clemmons Pedestrian Plan Study

Link to Survey Opens in new windowThe Village of Clemmons has initiated a Pedestrian Plan study, which will result in the first ever Pedestrian Master Plan for the Village.  Funded through a planning grant from the Winston-Salem Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WSUAMPO) with additional local support from the Village of Clemmons, the Pedestrian Plan study will focus on enhancing the network of pedestrian and multi-use path facilities. Recommendations will include a variety of sidewalks, multi-use path and crossing improvements as well as policy and funding opportunities review. The study process started in February 2023.

Happening now: 

  • Online survey for the pedestrian study will be open from June 3-July 16, 2023:  please fill out the survey to let us know where there are safety concerns and where additional pedestrian improvements are needed! Survey link:  https://metroquestsurvey.com/hal19 

Next steps:

After concluding public engagement and reviewing online survey results, the study team will develop draft pedestrian plan recommendations.  A second public engagement period is planned for September 2023.  A draft plan document is expected in the winter of 2024.
