Annual Tree Lighting
Each year the Village of Clemmons hosts the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Join your neighbors for snowfall, music, cookies, and a visit from Santa. The community gathers for the ceremonial lighting of the tree. Each year, a family within the community is selected to light the tree.
The Tree Lighting event, sponsored by Chick-fil-A of Clemmons will take place on the front lawn of Village Hall.

We are thrilled to announce that this year's lighting of the tree ceremony will feature Mr. Sam Lester and his son, Elijah. Sam is a highly respected employee of Public Works who has quietly contributed to the success of the Village for years. Despite facing significant personal challenges, including the recent loss of his wife and the responsibility of caring for his disabled son, Sam has continued to work tirelessly and share his vast knowledge and expertise with his colleagues. Elijah, who brings joy to everyone he meets, will be joining his father in this special event. We are honored to have Sam and Elijah be a part of this year's ceremony and to celebrate their love and resilience in the face of adversity.
