Randy Wooden brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our community. Randy grew up in Rhode Island as an only child with a blue-collar father and a mother who taught high school English. He graduated from Marietta (OH) College with a B.A. in Management and Advertising and started a family in Ohio, where he raised his twin sons, Matt and Rob. In 2000, Randy moved to Clemmons and has been an integral part of our community ever since.
Throughout his professional life, Randy has devoted himself to helping organizations and individuals reach their workplace goals. He has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Clemmons Planning Board, the Winston-Salem Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), where he is a current board member and past President, and Leadership Winston-Salem, where he is an alumnus and serves on its Marketing Committee.
Wooden, a lifelong sports fan and former ice hockey, baseball, and softball player, is in the process of writing a book about his life in job coaching and life’s second chances. The book promises to be a unique read with a humorous, metaphorical twist and a few surprises along the way.
Wooden's vision for Clemmons is to work closely with the Mayor, Council, Village staff, and residents to build on past successes and explore and implement plans for a sustainable and vibrant future.
