The Village of Clemmons strives to ensure the cost effective, efficient and timely procurement of necessary goods and services to enable Village departments to operate with the highest accountability in order to effectively deliver services to Clemmons citizens.  All purchasing and contracting activities are governed by N.C. General Statutes and local Village of Clemmons policies and procedures.  Our intention is to ensure the taxpayer receives full value for each dollar of public funds.  Qualified vendors are invited to compete for the Village's business, which consists of a variety of goods and services.

Many routine purchases are handled by the individual Village Departments.

All purchases of $350 or must be authorized through the issuance of a Village purchase order number.  This numbers must be provided to the vendor at the time the purchase is made.
