Construction of Driveways
Permit Required

It is unlawful to break out any street or curb for the purpose of constructing a driveway entrance, or to construct any driveway across the grass or sidewalk, without first obtaining a permit from the Public Works Department.

For your convenience, please complete the Driveway Permit Application before visiting the Public Works Department located at 3800 Dillon Industrial Drive (across from Southwest Forsyth Little League fields and Topsider Homes).  Applications are also available on site.  You may apply for a permit Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. thru 3 p.m.

If you have any questions, please call Public Works at 766-9170 and ask to speak to one of the Driveway Inspectors.
