Extra Trash

To assist with additional waste, citizens are invited to bring extra trash that will not fit in their roll out trash container to the Public Works facility between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday (except holidays) and dispose of it in a compactor.

Remember, as of July 1, 2011 the following items are banned from North Carolina Landfills:

Televisions, computers, and computer equipment.
This includes monitors, printers, printer/fax/scan devices, mice and keyboards.

Public Works is located at 3800 Dillon Industrial Drive (off Idols Road).  Just follow the signs to the compactor.
